What is Honeysnaps?
Honeysnaps Photography believes wedding photography should be spontaneous and personalised to capture photos that are quiet, sincere and a little bit unexpected.
Just like you, your wedding day is unique and so your photos should be too! With Honeysnaps there are no forced smiles or uncomfortable poses, just amazing captured moments that you’ll want to keep forever.
Your photos will keep your wedding day alive long after the last dance is danced, the cake is eaten and the flower girl is asleep under the table. Honeysnaps will capture all those small but significant moments, like your aunt dancing the Macarena or your father laughing so hard he cries.
Who Am I?
Hi I’m Julie and I have been a professional photographer since 2008. Honeysnaps was born in 2011 out of a desire to see more relaxed and organic wedding photography in Brisbane. My love for all things vintage, crafty and homemade, as well as my interest in fine art and social documentary photography is reflected in my style.
Prior to Honeysnaps I spent 4 years working as a wedding and portrait photographer. I also love to travel and have photographed social documentary projects in China, the Czech Republic and all over Australia, as well as worked as a photojournalist for the Phnom Penh Post in Cambodia (see my travel photos here). I will happily follow you anywhere to cover your wedding, as I love taking photos in unusual places!
